December 2016

Saturday, December 3 12–4 pm (free to the public)

Imagine our cellar decked out in holiday cheer. A 17 ft tree we pick from the property trimmed for Christmas with lights and ornaments while holiday music plays in the background. Surround all this with local and globally-conscious crafts and food, and you'll start feeling the season embracing you. It's an amazing way to kick off the holiday season in a relaxing and joyful way. Pick up a few stocking stuffers, taste special Madroña wines paired with cheeses and candies, and have some fun. And remember, this is the start of Magnum Week as well. It's a party at Madroña's Christmas in the Cellar!

Saturday, December 3rd through Sunday, December 11—Tasting Room Only

As you all know, Madroña wines are an expression of the region meant to be had at table with friends and family. If you know this, you probably also know that our wines cellar incredibly well. And if you're going to age them, the magnum is the best aging vessel out there. Thus for this week in early December, we celebrate getting a positively amazing and well-cellared wine onto your holiday table at an incredible price. During the year, our magnums sell for $95–$115 per bottle. During Magnum week, however, we pull out three wines from the winery's library to showcase in the tasting room at a mere $30/bottle (wine club members—$25/bottle) when you purchase over $85 in the tasting room. There is a limit of 2 bottles per person. It's tasting room only (sorry) and availability is only until the wine is sold out…but what a great way to get an aged Cabernet Sauvignon, Quintet, or Syrah on your holiday table.
