PRE- PASSPORT EVENT
Friday, April 20th 6 pm to 8 pm sharp
Since the winery is all set to go for the El Dorado Winery Association’s Annual Passport Weekend, we will be having a party in the cellar. This is a great event for those of you who cannot attend Passport or if you want to miss the crowds and take advantage of our Passport specials. Wine taste with the winery and cellar staff and enjoy a light dinner (pulled pork sliders with our house made port infused BBQ sauce, slaw, baked beans and walnut cake). The cost is just $10.00 per person plus tax and you must have reservations. This event is limited to 60 people and always sells out. Can’t make this event? Then visit us in the tasting room between event weekends. We will be honoring our Passport specials all week. Please call the winery at 530-644-5948 if you have any questions or would like to have your wine shipped.

TASTE OF BORDEAUX RIVER CRUISE WITH MADROÑA VINEYARDS
November 15 to November 22, 2018
Qu’est-ce que vous en pensez? If you’ve ever been in the tasting room and Paul’s there trying to speak some French, you know we Madroña folk love France (and the wines). Come join us for a voyage on the AmaDolce (the riverboat) this coming November for an experience of fine food, fantastic wine, and the French countryside. Each day has excursions into villages and wineries with smaller, intimate groups as we travel up the Dordogne and the Garonne rivers. Bordeaux, Pauillac, Blaye, Bourg, Cadillac, (and more) are all on the itinerary. And then if you can’t get enough of Paul out in the French vineyards, he’ll be doing three seminars onboard the ship talking (and tasting) about Bordeaux and Madroña wines. Remember, learning is doing, and we all need to learn more!
*Speaking French is not a pre-requisite for coming on this trip, but taste buds and an open mind are! If you’re interested, you’d better sign up soon as we’ve already filled many of the cabins (it’s a smaller ship).
